The North Main Tree Bank Fund by TreesUpstate
***Note, this is not the place to order a tree for your own yard. Please contact Kylie Stackis at kylie@treesupstate.org for a site visit first if you would like a tree in your yard.***
Since trees are what make our North Main neighborhood so beautiful, it is up to us to do something and build our next generation of overstory canopy. We have asked TreesUpstate to help us replant and plan for unavoidable tree loss in the coming years.
As a 501c3 nonprofit that plants, protects, and promotes trees, TreesUpstate ensures that the right trees are planted correctly in the right places. We hate to think what our neighborhood will look like in 20 or 30 years if we don’t do this right.
But not everyone can afford a tree, so TreesUpstate has set up a Tree Bank Fund designated specifically for our neighborhood.
Should you wish to help your neighbors-in-need plant a tree in their yard, funds from the bank will be used to offer trees to them at no cost. As the trees cost $120 to plant, we are asking for donations of this amount.
Thank you for your partnership in the health and beauty of our neighborhood and please consider how purchasing a tree for you or a neighbor can make a world of difference for all of us.
